Red LoveA Poem by Anna BlackburnAn assignment for English class; we had to write a lyric poem.
Dripping, dropping;
flowing through our veins. Flipping, flopping; growing in our hearts. Deep and dangerous, It's left on the knife. Deep and dangerous, It's part of our life. Running, flooding, as red as a winter nose. Stunning, budding, as red as a summer rose. Dark and sticky; Red is our blood. Hard and tricky; Red is our love.
