Through the darkness

I hear your voice calling,

Calling out my name

Reaching me.

 

Across the distance

I hear your voice echo,

echo in the silence

Around me.

 

With one word

you can light up the darkness.

I know I am safe.

I feel your warmth around me.

With one word

I get the strength to make it through today.

 

All around me

I hear your voice whisper,

whisper sweet nothings

in my ear.

 

When I'm alone

I hear your voice calming,

calming me down when

I am scared.
