The Providence in Prominence

The providence in prominence is a gradual apocalypse. 

Saving its eons of scorched days and flailing pain, 

for a mourning, for a burnt Earth, 

and clouds, blackened by the ashes of all mankind.

Artificial semblance is in the realism outside

Yet I would not lament for a populous suddenly extinct

Nor for a queue in Heaven as infinite
