Falling wings from the sky 

cast out by autumns wind

like fallen angels 

they glide on waves of golden sunlight 

bronzed leaves touch the earth

Some context: Many years ago I was walking with a friend of mine sometime in the fall/winter. And I had made a remark about the fallen leaves making me think of fallen angels. She thought that sounded poetic. I never thought of writing about it until now. So it's sort of a reminder of a good friend and good times also.
