Wave goodbye.

You walk away,

Board the plane,

And fly off.

Just another piece

Of my heart,

Leaving for

Somewhere else

In the world.

As tears threaten

To soak my face,

I try to

Remind myself

That you’ll be

Happier.

But that doesn’t help

Like they say

It will.

It just reminds me

That you’re

Completely fine

Without me.

You don’t need me

Like I need you.
