BaggageA Poem by AekmyI wonder what the Geese would say?
Where are the geese when you need them?
To quench this awkward silence and make the world right again.
So they'll squawk squawk squawk the profanities right from my ears.
And splash splash splash my wrongs clean.
These lights are forecasting doom on the hop and chance of my returned vision.
And as I sit here, I wonder what the geese would say.
Backpacks of teenage problems coarse down the hallway,
Just begging for me to bring justice in the lives of those who won't bring it upon themselves.
Bodies pressed up against boxes suffocating books inside, surround the bubble I live in.
Changing the Guard won't stop anyone from performing coercive acts they think
'Have no wrong' or they think are apart of this life.
I beg to differ.
