Hey, heartbreaker,

thank you for your attention.

I must have been the loveliest

in the entire population

that you chose to practice

your mastered art on me.

Flirtation 101:

Topic? Treachery.

 

Thank you for your flatteries.

It’s so generous of you

to exaggerate my beauty,

tell me, what else is new?

Drop the lousy lines

a lover has to tell.

In case you haven’t heard,

liars rot in hell.

 

Thank you for your poems,

I said I like them so.

But honey, I was joking.

Did you not even know?

Careless comma splices

and awful spelling errors.

Why are you even one

of world’s published authors?

 

Hey, heartbreaker,

thank you for your lies.

You are a living proof

that devils do disguise.

I could have kicked your balls

to deprive you pleasures in bed.

But see, I’ve always cared for you

so I wrote this poem instead.

Hello again. I saw this in my newsfeed and thought I might take a look at what you have here.

This was probably supposed to be full of anger. I felt that emanating from this piece. The first stanza especially highlights how you feel because while keeping a rhythm going, you had made it clear this person was quite deceitful. You definitely got your point across with these two lines, "your mastered art on me./Flirtation 101: Topic? Treachery."

I thought the second stanza flowed pretty well too. I believe a "the" in between "of" and "world's." I know it was supposed to be angry, but I kind of chuckled.

The third stanza was great as well. I especially loved these lines, "Hey, heartbreaker/thank you for your lies/You are a living proof that devils do disguise."

I had to put this in my library and I must say I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope you find a much more deserving person.
