Please Tell Him

a goodbye poem

Please tell him I will miss him

when fate bids us apart.

 'Cause though we love each other,

ours is a hopeless art.

The time with him I spent

is best of all the  best,

a "then" worth looking back

as bird longs for its nest.

This poem will cause him heartache,

but dread not the goodbyes.

I'm sure we're soulmates somewhere

where our forever lies...

I feel this with a couple people, could we have more than one soulmate?

and why is it that we seldom end up with the soulmates....something interferes...the bond still remains, though.

Very heart breakingly sad, as are most goodbye poems.
Short but so deep and meaningful still.
A Love that just isn't meant to be. Sad but it happens I guess.
Sure allot of people could relate to this hun.
