Though I have told you

That I would be your shelter,

Sometimes I feel that I

Cannot protect you from all the evils

In the world or in your heart

It makes me cry to think that I can’t

 

If I could, I would take away the fears, the hurt

I would hold you tight and make it alright

I would wrap you in the security

That you so desperately need

But you are so far away,

All I can only do is send you my love

 

I pray to the Lord

That you will be fine

And that you will feel my love

Across the distance

Think of me and I will be there,

In your heart and in your mind

 

As you are always in mine….

Awe you really show such inspirational and pure love... I love that you show how you want to do everything you can to protect that special one but admit it can't always be, that is real life... and that it hurts to know you can't shows deep humanity. Very touching my friend.
