Gentle Breeze

 

A gentle breeze blew

Through my life

Several months ago…

Calm, caressing,

Whispering softly to me…

Though I wanted to ignore it,

It was persistent,

Constantly swirling around me…

Slowly invading both heart and soul,

Soothing my inner fears

At a time when I had

More than my share...

Helping me silently with

Words of wisdom,

Touches of caring…

Despite my sometime neurotic ways,

This zephyr remains

Ever present,

An unwavering companion…
