...sometimes things don't work out the way we plan. this is a sad goodbye to someone special....

 

 

 

I Will Miss You

 

Thinking about what has been

And what has to be,

Has weighed heavily on my mind...

I think about what may have been

 

Weighing heavily on my mind...…

Insecurities proliferating with no basis,

Lamenting something that was nonexistent,

Leaving me with the feel of cold realization…

 

Memories of what we shared, together with

Images of what I wanted it to become,

Sweep though my subconscious mind,

Suspended forever, never to be...…

 

Yesterday is passed, never to come again,

Onward I must travel on the path I have chosen...but…

Understand always what you have meant to me, my love.

Very moving and so true for millions of would be loves. Is it tragic? Or just the way life is? I think it is probably both, tragic for the individuals who feel chewed up at the time, but something most of us survive to love another day, hopefully with more success. But at the time... sigh!

I really have to admit that this is one of the best acrostics I have ever read..
I mean mostly while writing an acrostic, most of the writers don't care about the flow while maintaining the structure..
But this flow of this acrostic is simply beautiful and at one point I really didn't realize that I was reading an Acrostic.
