Time and Destiny

Time and Destiny

A Poem by sweetsaltywords
"

What am I doing here?

"

Is destiny a reality? If so, where am I on the map?

Am I close to the finish line of success or am I about to pass out from dehydration?

 I’m tired

of running.

I am unable to tell one minute from the next and the hands of the clock are always moving

in that ridiculous clockwise motion. Everything happened too quickly so there must be a

God. Because the idea of infinity with past and future intertwined leaves no option for

me. I have to believe in something.

I can’t quite put the pieces of this puzzle together and the fact that it’s a puzzle of more

than one million pieces makes me uncomfortable.

What I do know is that my mistakes are somewhere behind me, in my past.

They are a secret only I know but still, they remain alive because of whispers.

And those are relentless in my present.

Will oblivion sweetly occur when I open the door to my destiny?

Or will my fingerprints never leave that damn doorknob…

Beautifully written! Only a couple punctuation problems. Also, had some trouble understanding, maybe you could be a little more descriptive? If you aren't looking for feedback, disregard :) Wonderful!
