Untitled #1A Poem by AidanThe first piece I decided to share in the Writer's Cafe! I don't normally title my pieces.
You lazily strolled on by,
up-turning the leaves as you passed Your fingertips parted both branches and bramble, exposing the tender earth beneath You left words scrawled there in the dirt for me to find - messages without meaning. Even so, I drank up every drop of you like a warm summer rain Until all of my flowers bloomed bright and full. © 2014 Aidan |
