Haiku Set #1

Back from winter break hiatus!

frigid toes hang out
want you close to keep me warm
through this long dark night.

solidarity
        trying to hold the world up
                           always to stand tall.


raindrops fall quite heavily

staining the concrete
          darkly

puddles swallow trash.
