One summer Jack thought about an old favorite memory. It was of when his parents took him on a one month stay to Cozy Cottages resort in the Catskill Mountains upstate New York. He sixteen years old back then, yet remembered every favorite detail of those fine events that took place. A hiking trail that led to the top of a small mountain with a beautiful view below of the county side. The now thirty two year old decided to go back there for whatever the reason that he would soon find out. It looked just the way he remembered it as he checked in for a two month stay. The outdoor pool, he game room, the baseball field made him smile as Jack visited those places first. The best was saved for last as it was to be the hike that led to the top of a small mountain with a beautiful view below. The path was still there and he knew exactly where to go. Just before reaching the top, he noticed a tree that he was drawn to from a memory long forgotten. "Jack and Jill forever" was carved in the bark as he then broke down and cried at a memory forgotten of his first true love. He turned around as he heard footsteps behind him. Jill pointed at the tree and said, "yes, I remember this also". The following summer a two month stay was booked at Cozy Cottages. This time it was for a couple reunited destined to go their on their honeymoon...Maybe romantic trails are actually just that. A place with a view of things to come. Case in point in a short love story about Jack and Jill, who settled down together in Cozy Cottages...
