A poem about heartache and being alone.

"Hurt, anger, pain, regret

weighing me down I want to forget.

Love, lust, comfort, belong

are memories since you have been gone.

 

Heartache and emptiness

fill me inside.

Haunting my dreams,

I can't run, I can't hide.

 

Your face is a blur

distorting my mind

Erasing the night

you left me, I try.

 

So many nights

I sat in the dark

As you went out 'nowhere'

and tore me apart.

 

Living a lie and

ignoring my pain

One day I hope

I'll never feel this again."

I really like this!
You did a great job relaying how the narrator feels heartbreak and loneliness.
Many will be able to relate to this.
Good use of rhyme that didn't seem forced at all.
