Bloom

A Poem by Ali Guerra

If flowers can grow
after the winter, then I
can get through this year.

You are welcome.
This is a beautiful commentary on rebirth and growth. I could see someone having this thought while looking at a garden in the spring after a hard winter. While thinking about the trials of the winter, this lovely thought springs to mind, like the first green stems of the new year. You know, I may just try to do the 365 day haiku thing again after seeing this one, even though I haven't done one for the last two days. Reading Haiku like things is inspiring.
