A poem written for the wrong person at the wrong time.

An eternity by the universe

A second in your eyes

Within which I have found found my own stars

To wish the future upon

Yet such words

Like stars

Sprinkled across a paper sky

Could only ever shine enough to know

That there is a fathom of love

Yet to be illuminated

By their glow
