Bad Habits

Bad Habits

A Poem by Alexandria Miller

Maybe one day
I'll shake these bad habits.

But until then,
I'll stand with you in the rain,
searching through mazes of
dancing branches,
listening to your words like
short stories of our lives.

A long drag of a cigarette,
I watch the smoke drift
until my eyes close
and I see bliss.
