Speech is an Art

I wrote this for a language arts project at school. it's reflects the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson.

                    Speech is                         l                                      All

            an Art, And                   My                              my feelings

          not    everyone                Life is an Art,               are

         is               gifted.             filled          up               silent,

       Maybe, just maybe,          with                              meant

     I wasn’t           gifted          feelings.                        to be

  with                     speech.                                                  Felt.

this is supposed to be a shape poem. it is supposed to say 'A R T ' i'm not sure it works though.
