Written while observing writers

Why are we so afraid

of writing the same thing twice

As if repeating yourself is a failure

of some creative faculty 

Expecting each line

to contain a unique and 

unexpected morsel of wisdom 

untouched and unspoken 

I don't have anything new to say

I like your poem. The stanza breakdown felt natural, and the reading flow makes it a pleasant journey. I like your lines,"...Expecting each line to contain a unique and unexpected morsel of wisdom," because I am happy if at least one line in all the lines in a poem as even a touch of that. I also like your last line because I feel all writers feel that way from time to time.
