Depiction of a dream like state

As I start to close my eyes

Lift my head up toward the skies

Feel my feet lift off the ground

As I watch the world go round

 

Reach out and touch a star

I wonder where you are

Gently tuck it in my pocket

Hitch a ride on a soaring rocket

 

Feel the wind rush through my hair

Can't help but stop and stare

You're floating next to me

I wanna float for eternity

 

Grab my hand there's the milky way

can't tell if its night or day

As I try and lasso the moon

I sing a joyful tune

 

As I start falling down

My dreams start to drown

Pull the covers over my head

Feel the sanctuary of my bed
