Deja Vu

Deja Vu

A Story by Alisa Js

How is it the story always ends the same way?
The people, places and circumstances may be different, but the ending will certainly manifest with the exact same result, regardless.
Why does this happen?  Is it a lesson I need to learn or a brain skip that keeps getting stuck?
If the answer is found in one's childhood experiences, where do you start?
What if you can't remember your childhood, then what?
How do adult life experiences factor to add to or enhance those mysterious childhood experiences many say hold the key to life's current dysfunctions?
Is there really proof of this or is it simply another theory the mental health experts rely on without question.
Questions...without the ability to question, how would we find answers?
Thoughts?
Suggestions??

:: it doesn't, sweet alisa... evolution is a given... the only problem is that the universe has a destructive dimension... (even though ultimately peace prevails)...

:: according to the ishavasya upanishad... they way to transcend pain is by accepting the destructive dimension of the universe... which exists in everything... the living and the non-living... and the way to heal is by appreciating and then accentuating the creative dimension of the universe... and the way to heal others is by transferring the skill of appreciating and accentuating the creative dimension of the universe to others... as you so finely do whenever you write... according to the same upanishad... God is the combined power of life and evolution... the second we experience gratitude for being alive and thus having the opportunity to participate in the unraveling of life as well as the momentum of evolution, we experience happiness... (to the extent that it is possible to experience happiness)...

:: so... there is no doubt that the universe is grievously injured because of it's destructive/self-destructive tendencies... but it is also simultaneously blossoming... we have it in us to select which tendency of the universe we're going to validate... we have it in us to enhance the momentum of evolution... it is possible...

:: whatever may have happened in the past... we can sculpt the present moment... and create a fabulous future... mr. davis once told me not to do anything that is "anti-life" and he also told me to be kind to myself... he said... "just do what you can until you can do more"... and i did... and i get to do a lot more than before... when i was so stressed out that i could not do anything at all...

:: just my thoughts... after reading your incredibly thought-provoking post...

Maybe there is more than one ending to the story, but because we are only ever shown this one, true "happy" ending from the beginning of our lives, we believe that that's the only finish line that we should aspire for?? Just a thought :)
