This transition feels much more like a senryu, in how it delivers its final line. Not to mention it does leave me wondering about the words which were said. Can a few words render a love false? Or would you have never said those words in the first place if the love was true? How unsteady of a heart can one carry, before the love it gives is but a mirage... and how much empathy must a heart hold to be true? Amazing what a few syllables can accomplish.
