Theology of SilenceA Poem by Laz K.My faith is a jewel hidden in a cave; A crystal that grows in the dark. Over millennia, it lay slumbering In silence, then gently roused by the Soft, muffled music of the spheres, Cradled, loved, nursed by the Earth, It grew, like a pearl in a shell, lustrous,
Bright, though oblivious to light. Reasoned minds would trample on it With their clumsy boots, Break it off, lock it in a glass case, Label it for museum goers that, Like dispirited children, would Gloss over it and flock to the Gift shop for trinkets and toys, Mementos of a fine day when they, Unknowingly, were in the presence of Something sacred.
