Sacrificing the Boy

Sacrificing the Boy

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Father was full of surprises.

"
He tiptoed on autumn's leaves so his soul wouldn't crumble.
Discovered in a black filled night he caved in to the would be assailant.
Rising higher into the stranger's arms he felt the warmth of a tickle
from his father's charm.
Higher and higher well over Dad's head
hurled upon sudden rock
He knew his fate was dead.

Thanks Silver. I didn't realize the biblical relationship. Dad was not a church goer. He sinned to terms of fatherhood.
