All Soul's Day

All Soul's Day

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Follows All Saints Day in November

"

Rockets scattered
Among Christmas bells
The battle a hundred miles long
You felt the shudder,
Dead smiles among the living,
No smiles among the dead,
At midnight rockets whistled away
Flares made it seem as day
I shall never forget that day
When explosions destroyed
Many on All Souls Day
