Watch Those Turns in the Road

Watch Those Turns in the Road

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

When Nothing Works

"

My words turn to a milky white on a white background.

Puns, jokes stand aghast in vehicular contortions.

I may seem witty but I lost myself to numbness a fortnight ago.

Cantankerous musings stir inside the bell of my mind.

I am ding-a-ling watching the seasons change into nightfall.

The hope I once had evaporated in a photo shoot on a foggy morning.

The Jpeg of my being forever posted on a blog in never land.

Come see me I might know you by the smell in your curtains!

Thank You all, thank you all unfortunately I can't write these blessings on milky white backgrounds. I'm using milky white ink!

I love the last line. It really adds a punch of mystery. Very deep sentiment here. Thank you for sharing.
