Silence's SoulA Poem by Alfred KukitzEscaping from yourselfThere is a silence that escapes me, like an old friend enchanting me with lilacs, scaring my wits on horror's horizon. Feeling a little revenge I muster my lies in neat rows, Big ones, little ones, middles ones, I sneak around my own silence, lick my chops, dive into the emptiness of sounds lasting a moment. We laugh coming up from the noise of our souls singing like the son-of-a-b*****s we are.
