a traitor in the ranks

Any Takers? Ha…..ha….ha…

almost by circumstance i have fallen into a conspiracy of doom

resting on past laurels I just committed another sin

purging my soul of the wiles in poetic scribble

i have gone to fiction as a lost lonely wander

scavenging any concept, any idea for the sake of profit.

i will try to lure you away from all poetic mumbo jumbo, 

tilting the arc of your mind in a new make believe way,

i’m warning you, giving you just one other chance,

that my tooth pick of legs are just waiting for the best seller’s dance.
