Witness

Witness

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the effect of poetry

"

After Witnessing “Eye of the Needle”

she moved in midair

the gesticulations of her body

caused a spiral intonation

grace could be said only in the eye’s view

even an idiot could be awed

the poet though would melt into his awe

carried somewhere only his soul knows.

Thoughtful, light, but nice to read piece of writing. I like the descriptions, the mood. Makes one's mind wheel a bit...

This is a great definition of what it means to be a poet. One who is willing to witness...
I am thankful for the opportunity to witness your creative expression here.
