A Dream Offers a Dream

A Dream Offers a Dream

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz

why we live

A Dream Offers a Dream

you sing to me in music’s charm

wile away hours in a slumbering lore

reality must have left you some time ago

for you really like now and all its form

when the chorus of your song

traveled round again

i saw you disappear in a dream of yours

you voice did come from everywhere

the heavens filled us with magical air

i must say this must be a dream

for life can’t possibly offer these things.

The greatest 'prophet' of the 20th century to my mind was Einstein … all is relative … knowing this one learns the importance of tending to her own thoughts … there is found Nirvana:)

I use to work in a mental hospital. I remember Joe. He smiled every morning, said good morning, that was it. I often wondered what he was thinking.

Thank you for visiting folks!

Al

i picture someone who has completely been separated from their sanity...and how sweet the song of their world can be....because it has to be better than reality.

I for one love dreams. I think they are amazing and I really like fantasy of them. Anything can happen! Life is never as grand as a beautiful dream twisted to perfection in a realm of subconscious. This addresses the fact life can't offer the beauty of a dream... and I find that slightly sad... though I know it's true. Very nicely done. ^^ Keep Dreaming.
