Elysium

Elysium

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

paradisal

"

Elysium

To be among the morning that kisses the soul
To be among stars that fill your eyes
there is little room to blink
I walk in awed breath
The animals near me
Smelling the Earth's scents.

WE live in Elysium and most of us don't know it. The Greeks may have conceived it, but should we take time to truly understand what we have at our disposal perhaps we might take more care of it. This is exquisite writing, Al... I love it.

...it is truly "paradisal", Alfred.

"there is little room to blink
I walk in awed breath"

What a magnificent description...I love it!

The forest is blooming it gives a fresh feel to my eyes. The beauty of life, no politics, a song bursting forth.

I'm watching the mail this week! Did you hear? I'm getting a book along with lots of junk.

Regards,
Al

not enough of us walk in awed breath...we take way too much for granted, and we just don't appreciate all the life around us.
