In the Silence of Evolution

In the Silence of Evolution

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

listening from early beginnings

"

In the Silence of Evolution

the earth formed

and so I was

molecular

awaiting some foreign time scale

i was a long listen in evolution

5 billion

100 billion years

and on and on

I listened

in june 1948

cellular reproduction initiated

i had over 100 billions years of listening,

waiting in my own silence of evolution

until the day i was born.

I'm so glad my unawareness was on things could have been boring! Thanks Moon!

Oh wow, you make evolution sound romantic, Al!!! :)) Darwin would be so proud....journey from a tiny inorganic molecule to a full fledged fluffy cell would be much more interesting than the Odyssey...and then there was that gigantic big bang too......hmm, must have been a long wait... :))well worth it, anyway, right?? :))
Regards!!
