Sad Little Boy

Sad Little Boy

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz

boy memory

Sad Little Boy

in the aftermath of memory

i have found a grin

Cheryl smiled upon my eyes

my shy little self was to happy

to comprehend.

i wiggled around myself

as the last boy in the world

sadness drew me closer

and ask that i visit him.

Playing with the guys was my outlet from sadness. Baseball, football, basketball & vandalism were the main ingredients of the day.

Thanks!

Regards,
Al

my grade school crush, Judy...loved her from afar, she never new....when she smiled at me i got shyer ...

she died of cancer before my last grade school reunion...damn....wanted to tell her about that crush so we could both have a laugh.
