Feeling the Hills

Couched reason
Self sinking into the feet of me
I hear fatigue panting around my corner
Tentacles grab the reach of my body
Tired times three
I'm sleeping with the best of the bones
along a row of arms & legs
the stretch is how I make my bed.

sounds like a bad bout of 'all up hill'... i know what this feels like sometimes... the body feels like it just wants to spend the day motionless, seated or on its back... great write, Al.

sometimes our bodies ache so much, wherever we can stretch our legs...that is couch enough reason to sleep.
