Sweet Pain

Sweet Pain

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

love hurts

"

Sweet Pain

Jaded like a sweet rose thorn
I prick myself into your beauty
Pain, that wee pain, sighs in echoes
Lasting till we meet again.

what a great line "I prick myself into your beauty"

so innovative...the personification and metaphor in this short piece are breathtaking...
