The Escape of Silence

More than one silence has escape from me.
I'm looking around I have climbed a tall tree
in the distance I see its smile
The damn thing thinks it's free from my head
Just when it turns a corner or two
I leap from the tree and subdue its residue
Once I place myself in full gear
Silence and I turn allies as head noise disappears.

I just read a line from John Muir "The universe starts in the forest" So the dogs and I did the forest, big hills, dodging horse manure and finding trees that are really stars that have settled on Earth. Forest silence mesmerizes me. My mind and soul share a kinship. Thank you for visiting guys.

when I lived in the city I always longed for silence but could never find it until I discovered no one swam in a salt water hole just outside the city limits...i can tell you I suffered some cold temperatures to capture that silence...

those trees are silent but they remember...and those who "do" don't need to talk about it...the actions speak for themselves..
