Illusions of Earth

Illusions of Earth

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

what is real

"

Illusions of Earth

Spinning words from a matrix of thought
The calendar says another illusion has passed
I'm digging deep with a shoveled soul
finding real wherever I go
I decided to find the other side of Earth
I'll be back in time for the illusions of Earth!

Befuddled, confused, always remember what we see is an image created in the mind. Just try to make that image reality. Good luck my friend!

I wonder, am I really reading this? Perhaps this is all an illusion, too... this is thick in philosophical thought, my friend...

Oh my poor D! Most things we see with our eyes are really not there because the image in our mind is illusionary. Missed you!

Your words find me puzzled like in front of David Copperfield. :)

I get a real kick out of the landscape people who place mulch on top of 10,000 miles of soil.

Thank you both for your visit!

"The calendar says another illusion has passed" favorite line. I love needing to read something several times to get full effect. your poem satisfies many senses.

poets find both the real and the illusion---thoughts come, thoughts go...and some the pen gets to paper. those are captured forever, and it is up to the reader to decide, real or illusion.
