Pick Up

Pick Up

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Pick Up

Bounce the ball

A hundred times

Unintended consequences

Fly through the air

It's a hoop of promise

Scoring a smile for all to hear

Watching feet dribble around the center

A foot cuts south grappling a baseline

Restless he weaves the magic of who knew what

Surrounded with friends in all the places.

We visited recently. One of the guys was a gussey hanger (he didn't run down court with everyone just stood under the basket for an easy score).

Thanks Jacob!

Regards,
Al

the friends are the other members of the team...and together they win in the end...we need those friends in life. I really like the metaphor here.

sometimes the ball just doesn't go through the hoop...but it's not the rim's fault.
