From Love's Shore

From Love's Shore

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

like old times

"

From Love's Shore

So I've waited on the likes of your bones
Afternoon pauses in midstream dances
Toes entangled in a love's abundant footsteps
Paper hats by way of holidays created
A summons of your smile inching into
a soul that had gone astray from the magic of ourselves
Here we deliver with fine laced compassion
a trilogy of how loves brings inner child to the fore
Happily I beg you these moments last forever
because I want to kiss forever from love's shore.

the strongest memories of loved ones...we want to keep them---wear them like a medallion around our necks..touch the medallion with our thoughts, remember those wonderful kisses, the touches..."waited on the likes of your bones" is such a great line.
