Two Chunks of Soul

Two Chunks of Soul

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

take a bite out of yourself

"

Two Chunks of Soul

Two chunks of my soul lay on the floor
I want to gnaw the bits out of them
Send them into the cooler of the frozen
Play with them as dice
trying to strike a lucky seven from my paw
but coming up snake eyes with every passing turn.

Yes there are times when tasting a cool memory on a hot day would refresh that bitten area of soul.

Thank you much!

Al

Wow...chunks of soul sounds so eerie....don't we all love biting on and savouring the taste of our memories...and haven't we all wished we could freeze them and store them somewhere....
Excellent write, Al!! :)))

Yes they must be warming themselves in their black clothes. Thanks Jacob!

take a bite out of crime...and the crime sometimes is living too hard with regrets...we would love to be able to freeze them out.
