Calling the Tree

Calling the Tree

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

hello there it's me

"

I am the which way to whenever

slipping by my feet I stumble on a darkness discovered

fallen, fallen like an old tree of time

my shadow missing until I rise

once up and about

I hear myself calling

calling to the tree out loud.

Yesterday among trees and shade I felt the joy of weeping, weeping inside, as I bathed in the beauty of a sunny day.

Thanks Pryde!

Regards,
Al

If a tree falls in the forest, it moans in its descent. They are a powerful bunch; best to hug and not cross:)
