ahahaha ..had to red this of course ..title hooked me! ;) but i think Mr. E. would tell us its all in the all :) he was and is such a marvelous character who played many roles in his life ..some as they suited him for politics, religion, and/or science ... so intuitive and brilliant ..but he made lots of mistakes .. none of which seem to have stuck to him .. as you point out ..no room for sin in science eh!? :)) enjoyed reading! nice one!
