Walk Toward Sunshine

Walk Toward Sunshine

You may journey forth
A robin and squirrel at your side
The record of the day indicates a walk in sunshine
The feet dither about wondering which way to the shine
The critters patient and kind whisper to my feet
The engine of the soul engages
and like a newly formed creature my gait arrives
as we amble down the avenue to sunshine
I see that light is 92 million miles away
It will be some walk and worth all the time.

Thanks Kelly!

Now that you mentioned the song yes, I remember it. Lots of energy! Just before the walk with Jackson and Honey I watch in joy the excitement they feel in anticipation of our journey. There is nothing more pleasing than a tickle before the morning walk.

Love,
Al

There's nothing better than walking, especially when you're walking with a friend or your fur babies! Do you remember that song by Katrina and the Waves, called "Walking on Sunshine"? I was reminded of it while reading this.

Always a pleasure with you, Al! Take care!
