Of Shine and Polish

Of Shine and Polish

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

where is reality

"

Of Shine and Polish

Humbled........I sit in pause

awaiting return of

wings that I abandoned years before my inception

into the hallowed moment.

I am of shine and polish

and I kneel before you all

and ask, ask so ever sweetly,

Will you not spare me a kindness

that I may shed my tears of sorrows

of dead friends gone by way of the Nam?

Thanks Ana!

The military turns into a military industrial complex including the VA Health Care system. Money floats into dark pockets, these companies, men and women do not know the honesty of labor.

Regards,
Al

The shine and polish of the military and all the sorrow that comes with that life. A sad reflective piece is how it feels to me.
