In the BeginningA Poem by Alfred Kukitzfirst human momentIn the Beginning Words turned inward Sounds that embrace echo's long standing ummmm. The first human utterance. Eyes in spectacular embrace of a new world. The mind's freshness edging toward whole consciousness. I gather from a hymn inside me An arc of blessedness reaches inside us all No longer hominid, no longer Homo Erectus, I am human, behold, my arms reach a sky that a story was finally told.
