nuts & bolts

nuts & bolts

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

need a wrench

"

nuts & bolts

i have called upon myself to listen to the nuts & bolts of form

weathered by storm, blown to bits by a tidal wave of words,

I hear itching in souls unborn, mastering the vapor of ethereal form,

readied by a gangplank of blind feet walking the edge

sure they scream upon catching sun’s light

spirits formed in human skin is new to them

but i advise in my nuts & bolts way

be quiet and still child so you can soar!

"I hear itching in souls unborn," is my favourite line from here! I love the little instances of alliteration scattered here and there!
