napkin in bed

"

drool on both sides of the mouth

"


turnbuckle, connections, fold upon fold in this interlude
bending backwards, bending in
trouble begets this stance i’m in
conveyed by pure wisdom to dribbling fools on a chin
the wink of oddity is blind to the masses enslaved
a thought of emptiness lives in their graves
summons to rise from the dead or a peek of the view instead but
the dribble continues the napkin in bed

I like the rhythm and the flow of this poem, and it sounds really good when spoken out loud!
"the wink of oddity is blind to the masses enslaved " favourite line!
