3 feet tall

"

little one

stunned by the fuze balls in yonder yard
standing straight a mile to a yard
memory serves me a time when fuze balls
inhabit another land, little me,
boy of smiles a yard long
frowns that lasted a mile long
here i am enchanted by the sound of you
meandering around the times of the little one.

ah to be three feet tall again....i want to go back to Vermont...i want to be older then, there was a waitress...well, a crush...me 7 , her 19...oops...Little me.

There was a girl I knew when I was young that I often think about. This brought me right back to the area we used to play in. It was a grassy field with a hill we'd slide down. Another land resonates with me a lot. Thanks for sharing this.
